DIRECTOR OF COACHING - JOHN HUTH
The Westside Soccer Club is pleased to introduce John Huth as the Westside Soccer Club Director of Coaching. John has a USSF National C License, a National Youth License, and coaches various teams at Westside.
TACTICAL DIRECTOR - SAM POGONI
Sam Pogoni is a teacher at Walnut Hills High School and a recent resident to the Westside. He has played at the high school, club, and college levels. He initiated the Women's Soccer program at the College of Mount St. Joseph and coached the team for ten years with 4 NCAA appearances. He has coached at all levels from middle school through college, boys and girls, most recently with the Cincinnati Classics. He holds an NSCAA National License.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - ERIK SCHOENING
Erik Schoening is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Elder High School. He played for the Westside Soccer Club as a youth player, before moving on to Team Cincinnati, NKSC, and Raiders United Premiere. He currently holds a national "D" licence and is a member of the NSCAA. Mr. Schoening was a director of the Kick-Start program at Westside during the Fall of 2005. His coaching experience includes stints at Seton High School and Elder High School. He currently coaches the U11 Premier '96 boys team.
DIRECTOR OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT - SONDRA PFLUM
DIRECTOR OF GOAL KEEPING - PAUL KRAMER
Paul has 26 years of coaching experience, highlighted by a Girls U14 State Cup championship in 1989 and a Girls U16 State Cup Finalist in 1991. Paul has a USSF National D, a NSCAA National Diploma and a NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma. In his everyday life, Paul is a land surveyor for a major construction company and he looks forward to retiring soon. Paul himself still plays soccer, and also coaches Westside's girls Classic '94 team.
