About Westside Juniors

Westside Soccer Club is pleased to offer a co-ed developmental program designed to foster enthusiasm for soccer while learning the skills of the game. The focus of the program is on fun. The staff and selected coaches will do their very best to assist your son or daughter in developing their love for the game. Values such as teamwork, respect, and 'doing your best' are emphasized.

Soccer skills such as dribbling, ball-striking, and passing/receiving are taught through age appropriate activities. This is a non-competitive program; scores are not kept. The fields and goals are scaled down and the teams are small sided to maximize their time with the ball. Fewer players on the field mean more opportunity to be in the action!

Parents or older siblings are encouraged to 'sign-on' as coaches. A structured training guideline/curriculum is provided. Our JRL staff will provide coach mentoring, curriculum implementation, group training, and player assessment. This is a structured program with firm philosophical teaching methods applied.
